    Name: Bramblepaw
    Gender: She Cat
    Rank: Apprentice
Personality: Extremely ambitious, somewhat aggressive though she is fair and honest. She wishes to rise to the top of the clan with her hard work and passion. Fiercely loyal to her clan and clanmates.
Appearance: Chocolate brown with lighter brown strips running down her back, tail, and on the sides of her face. Dark green eyes. (Can find picture in my image section)
    Mate: N/A
Crush: None (Uninterested in mates currently and most likely forever.)
    Kits: None
Other: I'd prefer if eventually my cat's Warrior name is Brambleface.
Do you want to be in prochecy?: I can be if I need to be.
Good or evil?: Purely based on circumstance. She adapts to her situation however she sees fit.
Might be good to note that I'm new to this site, so please do tell me if I've done something wrong! I'll be happy to fix it if I can and change for later.

OOC: Woo, in that case I'm going to go ahead and submit my application.

    Name: Bramblepaw (Brambleface)
    Age: 7 Moons
    Gender: She-Cat
    Crush: None
    Mate: N/A
    Kits: N/A
Looks: Chocolate Brown fur with lighter brown stripes down back and tail, around face, and on legs. Dark green eyes.(Picture in my image gallery)
    Rank: Warrior Apprentice
Other: I'll use this section for personality if that's okay?
She's extremely ambitious and hard working. She wishes with all her heart to rise to the top of the clan with her training and work. She tends to come off as aggressive to many cats, and she'll be the last to deny it, however she is fair, honest, and loyal.
OOC: Have to walk my dog, so I'll check back soon.

There has been much debate for many moons in this clan. No one can come to a clear decision over whether or not non-clan members, kittypets, or loners should be allowed within the clan. The clan's current leader, Clawstar, is a strong believer that none but those genetically part of the clan should be permitted. Where do you stand? Dare you act against the most powerful leader seen in any clan yet? Or would you rather follow along unquestioningly, and take what comes?

    The Prophecy:

"A river of blood will flow, and from it, the hope that lights the path.
Ice will lead the way, to pierce the hearts of the rising storm.
Claws will flail, though some lives are not meant to be saved "
"Your clan desperately needs to adapt. It needs a new perspective. Sometimes war is necessary, but more often than not, you can come to a diplomatic solution."

Information here changes often, to be as up to date as possible, I'd suggesting giving it a quick look over every week or so.

    Clan Info:
The cats in this clan tend to specialize in close quarters combat, tree climbing, and tunneling.
Currently, I am drawing a map of the territory. It should be ready soon!

[li]I've been going back through the posts and I came across two applications for cats that I failed to notice. So if you make a post and you don't think I've seen it, PM me, or just quietly quote your post. I'm very sorry, I tend to get distracted and slip up.[/li]
[li]I forget the names of your cats. If I make am mistake, let me know. I'll try my best to cover it up IC or just edit my post to fix it.[/li]

I am also sorry to add that any cats inactive for more than a couple of months without prior notice will be deleted. Though I will always make an attempt to contact the owner before doing so.

    All are welcome!

As the sun rose on the large thistle-surrounded clearing, Clawstar slipped out of the Leader's den. The bark of the old stump his ancestors had chosen for this den scraped pleasantly over his back as he exited. He did not relish this for long however, as a worry he'd had for many moons pushed it's way back into the forefront of his mind. His clan's population was starting to dwindle near the single digit mark, and if he was to keep his clan pure of outside clans, something had to change, and soon. Currently, there were only three apprentices, and one of them was a medicine cat apprentice, meaning that there were only two cats training to be future warriors in the clan. This worried him almost as greatly as the idea of his cats being forced to meld with others simply to keep the bloodline going.
Just yesterday, he'd appointed Thornstripe to be the new mentor for Bramblepaw. He had thought that his generally calmer personality would be a good match for the aggressive young cat, who needed to work on keeping her emotions in check. And just two moons before that, Crystalheart had been given Stormpaw as an apprentice, as her caring nature would do well for the Impatient attitude he'd developed.
But those two were the only warrior apprentices the clan possessed at the moment. He was afraid for the future of his clan, and it's purity.

OOC: Woo! I got my starter going. It is dawn in Thistle clan! The fresh kill pile possesses some food, but probably not enough to satiate everyone's hunger. There are currently no threats to the clan.
    Happy roleplaying!

Clawstar jolted, having zoned out with his worrying. "Oh, yes, good morning." He meowed hastily and flicked his tail. "Going to organize the morning patrols?" Despite there having been little sign of any other cats nearby for quite some moons, Clawstar very much preferred to keep on top of the borders.

OOC: Wooho! new apprentices! I've added them to the list! Troutjaw will be mentor to Gorsepaw, Crystalheart to Ivypaw, and Swiftwinter to Oakpaw! Also, so sorry for late responce, I've just moved into a new house and am lacking internet for about a week, so I'm forced to send these at school for the time being. Just to let you know! Thanks!

Clawstar nodded and turned, hopping on top of the stump to get a good view of the clan and it's activities.

Bramblepaw blinked open her eyes, squinting as sunlight glared into her eyes through a gap in the bush. For a moment, she couldn't figure out why she'd been woken, then she remembered hearing her name called and the memory of her apprentice ceremony the night before came back to her. She jumped to her paws, shaking leaves out of her fur excitedly. This must be her first patrol as an apprentice! She practically bolted out and looked around for some indication of who she'd be going with.

"Of course I'm ready." Bramblepaw replied hotly. "I've been ready since the day I opened my eyes. Is anyone else coming?" She flicked her tail slightly, not seeing any other cats coming to join them. Could it really be that the first time she's left the camp is without the company of a warrior? She was torn between excitement and nervousness.

OOC: Excited to have temporarily acquired internet. I've been told that I should have internet at home by Tuesday, but I'm not sure how well I trust those people's word. Also, Welcome Nightpaw to Thistleclan!

Noticing her Denmate's impatience, Bramblepaw straightened herself up and trotted proudly to the thistle woven entrance to the clan. She was determined to get everything right. She would check the borders and any cat who saw her would definitely cower in their fur! I'm going to be the best warrior this clan has ever seen!
Once she exited, she couldn't hold back a sharp intake a breath at the sight. The light dappled through the treeline, illuminating a thin, dusty path. It was well worn by generations of cats weaving their ways neatly between the bushes and trees. She could see the end of the path some distance away, where it broke off to a steep cliff. Is that all the territory there is? From all the scents of her clanmates' pelts when they returned from patrols, she had expected much more. It was then that she noticed a perilous looking rockfall on the side of the cliff, boulders just small enough for the ambitious apprentice to scramble up surely!

OOC: I am sorry I must go again. I hope to see you all on Tuesday, or sooner! Happy roleplaying!
She started forward, certain of her ability, trying her best to seem unconcerned.

Bramblepaw wasn't really paying much attention to what Stormpaw had to say and instead was picking up speed until she reached the bottom of the cliff. She skirted it and stood beneath the rockfall, then began to climb it, judging the distance before leaping and scrabbling up the tall stones. She refused to look back until she reached the top, at which point she flopped onto the lush grass, panting and waiting for her denmate.

((I'm so sorry guys, they said we'd have internet the 14th, but it turns out they meant 14th of November. I don't have time to make an emote just yet, but after school we're going to an internet cafe. See you then!))

OOC: Fuzzyfur has been added to the list! Thanks for your patience. We've decided that we'll be coming consistently to the internet cafe every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, so If I can't respond during school hours, that's when to expect me. I picked a really bad time to start a clan.

Bramblepaw stared up at the trees that somehow had managed to stretch all the way up the cliff she had just climbed and were still going. She could just see the precarious top branches, swaying gently in the breeze. She was jolted out of her small trance by Stormpaw plopping down beside her, indicating his arrival. She hopped to her paws, filled with energy yet again. She wanted nothing more than to make a running leap at one of the trees and climb right to the top, but she was stopped by her desire to maintain dignity in front of the older apprentice. This was, after all, her first day. She was desperate to make a great first impression with her skill. She was going to be a warrior! And warriors don't spontaneously jump onto trees. At least, she didn't think they did.
"So what are we going to do?"

Bramblepaw gave a small, excited little hop at the thought of hunting. Although, she'd never had a chance to practice her hunting crouch with her mentor, as she'd only been appointed an apprentice the day before. She was reluctant to try it for the first time in front of her new denmate.
"I'm not hungry yet. Let's go see the borders!"
She turned from the cliff's edge and began to trot across the even ground. The grass was fairly short up here, though there were large bramble bushes surrounding many of the trees. Suddenly a though occurred to her.
"..Why do we have borders if there aren't any rival clans around us? Are there kittypets or something? Or Loners?"
She opened her mouth, letting scent bathe her tongue, as though she'd actually be able to scent anything from this far away.

((Omg I am very very sorry. As I was editing the cat list to include the mentors of apprentices next to them, I realized that I accidentally gave Ivypaw Crystalheart as a mentor when I'd already given her to Stormpaw in my first post. I fixed it so that now, Lostcause is Ivypaw's mentor. So sorry for the mix up. Everyone has a mentor now!))
